The little piggy at Eat Street.
Popper Pete sold popcorn at Eat Street from the very beginning, right up until he retired in late 2024. Michael, who took over the location had eaten his caramel popcorn for years, and the name arrived mid-mouthful: a popcorn piggy, through and through. The little piggy mascot was born on the spot and now fronts the whole store.
Months went into building a store that looked as whimsical as the popcorn tastes, with popping and tumbling equipment imported straight from the USA. Flavours like Cheese Burger and Salt and Vinegar give popcorn a whole new job to do, and every batch uses mushroom popcorn instead of the usual butterfly kernel for a better crunch and coating.
