vendors catering your event?

40+ kitchens, a riverfront, live music and a crowd that came to have a good time. Bring your people down, pick a container, event space or the whole precinct, and let everyone eat exactly what they feel like. No set menu, no beige ballroom, no one stuck at the far end of the table. Just Eat Street Northshore, with your name on it.

Six mates in a container, a family in a private dining space, a hundred and twenty in the RiverDeck, three thousand across the precinct.

SUSTAINABILITY

Great events get a second life.

Great events get a second life.

Eat Street Northshore began with repurposed shipping containers. Everything we do follows this one guiding principal.

Eat Street Northshore began with repurposed shipping containers. Everything we do follows this one guiding principal.

Born from shipping containers

The precinct is built from repurposed shipping containers, given a second life on the riverfront.

Home of small business

More than 60+ local, independent operators, not a single national chain kitchen.

Two thirds less landfill

A waste overhaul in 2018 cut our weekly landfill by about two thirds. Close to 80 cubic metres now stays out of the ground every week.

Nothing served in plastic

Every kitchen and every bar swapped the plastic they served with for compostable packaging.

A tonne of scraps, back to a farm

Around a tonne of food scraps leaves here each week as feed for a drought affected regional farmer.

Shells back to the bay

Our oyster shells go to OzFish, whose Central Moreton Bay chapter is rebuilding 100 hectares of shellfish reef.

Cans and caps that give back

Containers for Change proceeds go to Variety Children’s Charity. Bottle caps go to Ocean Crusaders & come back as building materials.

Greens grown on site

A hydroponic farm in a 40 foot container grows insecticide free produce for the kitchens, a few steps from the pan.
