Bringing Authentic Mexico to Brisbane
After arriving in Australia in 2000, Hector set out to find authentic Mexican food but quickly realised it was hard to come by. Determined to recreate the flavours of home, he began growing his own chillies, making tortillas from scratch, and sharing traditional recipes with the local community. That passion grew into a successful Sunshine Coast restaurant, appearances at major festivals and markets, and finally, here at Eat Street Northshore.
Today, Las Catrinas's famous Birria Tacos have become a customer favourite, alongside classic soft tacos and our much-loved homemade chilli sauces, delivering the authentic flavours of Mexico in every bite.
