Parking and getting to Eat Street Northshore

1,400+ free car spaces onsite, plus a ferry that drops you 250m from the gate. Here's how to get here without the stress.

Cars parked by the water at dusk near the precinct.

Eat Street Northshore sits on a former wharf on the river at Hamilton, and getting there is easier than the queue for a table might suggest.

Parking onsite

There’s space for more than 1,400 cars onsite, and it’s free. Cars come and go through drop-off and pick-up points on Macarthur Avenue, with pedestrian access straight into the precinct from either end. Give yourself a few extra minutes on a big Saturday, since the closer spots fill quickly once the evening gets going.

Skip the car altogether

The Northshore Hamilton ferry terminal is a flat 250m wander from the eastern entrance, and CityCat is a genuinely easy way in if you’re coming from the city. Check Translink for the timetable before you leave, especially for the trip home.

However you arrive, full details on entrances, drop-off points and accessibility live on getting here, worth a look before your first visit.
