The Professors have been cooking up a sugar show since 2017.
Professor Fairy Floss started in 2017, built around a theatrical, science-themed store where the team wears lab coats and smoke machines add to the wonder of watching fairy floss made to order. The concept went properly viral, landing on Buzzfeed and TV shows as far away as China and Korea. By 2019 the crowds had outgrown the original space, so the Professors moved into the bigger store they run today.
Fifteen flavours rotate through the year across roughly two hundred fairy floss machines, replaced and rotated daily so everything stays fresh. The signature order is the SugarWars FlossSaber, an LED sword buried under a serving of fairy floss built for the photo as much as the sugar hit. Some of the Professors behind the counter have been spinning floss here for more than five years.
