OUR STORY
Visionary customisation.
UMIQ began as a way to back their son Noah’s entrepreneurial streak when he was 16, and a way for the family to work together. They started at Carseldine Markets, up at 4am for the best part of a year, before applying to Eat Street Northshore after years working with Goodwill Projects at other markets.
The name means ‘you can make it unique’: customers mix and match designs and sizes for custom apparel, printed on the spot for a one-of-a-kind result. Through the week Noah designs, Buddy handles stock and orders, and the family is looking at an onsite printer to cut the current one-week wait for custom orders.
